Key to Metals
The World’s Most Comprehensive Metals Databases, it is the most powerful combination of metals, database, search engine and program of expert consultancy. It includes chemical composition, properties and specifications for metals, search and cross-reference tools that enable considerable time and cost savings. The most important one is the Key to steel.
Key to Steel
Key steel give the information about Structural and Constructional Steels, general structural steel, case hardening steel, nitriding steel, free cutting- steel, heat-treat able steel, ball and roller bearing steel, spring steel, steel for superficial hardening, steel for cold extrusion, tough at subzero steel, pressure vessel steel, heat resisting structural steel, fine grained structural steel, tool Steels Carbon tool steel, high speed steel, hot work tool steel, cold work tool steel.
Stainless Steels, Valve steels, High temperature steels and alloys Non-magnetisable steels Stainless steels and castings Heat-resisting steels and castings Heat conductor alloys Welding filler materials and more. The following examples give some information about Key Steel of one serie of steels:

DESCRIPTION Fully-killed medium carbon steel
APPLICATIONS :Suitable for medium stressed parts in machinery and industrial tools. Components of small cross section requiring strength and wear properties better than low carbon unalloyed steel. Heavy forgings in the normalised condition for automotive and general engineering, such as axles, clutch members, shafts, piston rods and gear racks. Can also be used as a holder block for press tools and plastic moulds.
